Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Day 3: HANOI TOUR & TRAIN TO SAPA (B/ L)

Hanoi without a doubt is a beautiful stop for your Vietnam Travel. Today, we enjoy a full day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum (or Museum of Fine Arts, Army Museum, History Museum, Woman Museum, Hoa Lo Prison), the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword. Late afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Enjoy a glass of “Bia Hoi – draught beer – included” at Ta Hien Street before we enjoy a fantastic traditional water puppet show. This evening, we will transfer you to the train station to experience a Vietnam train ride to Lao Cai.

Day 4: LAO CAI – SAPA HOMESTAY (B/ L/ D)

Pick up at the train station by our guide and driver, short drive to Sapa where we have already arrange a room at our hotel for you to have shower and breakfast. Sapa – The Queen of the Mountains, overlooking a beautiful valley, lofty mountains towering over the town on all sides, Sapa Tour is gateway to another world of mysterious minority cultures and luscious landscapes and great choice for Vietnam Tours maker to arrange Vietnam Culture Tours, Vietnam Trekking Tours, Vietnam Homestay Tours…Morning free at leisure to explore Sapa. After Lunch in Sapa, we start our trip by trekking ~ 12km to Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai and Ta Van village of the H’mong and the Dzay minorities. During your way, you will have opportunity to see people working on beautiful rice terraces and visit some of the local families, via your guide, you will learn many interesting things about the ethnic minorities culture and life. Upon arrival at the homestay, greeting to the family, the rest of the day, you can walk around to explore the village or help your guide cook delicious Vietnamese food for dinner.

Day 5: TAVAN – SAPA (B, L)

After your breakfast with pancake made by your host family, we continue trekking to Giang Ta Chai village and Su Pan village of the red Dzao minority. After picnic lunch at a roadside famliy, we trek up to the main road where your private car is waiting to pick you back to Sapa.
 
Check in a hotel and free at leisure. Overnight in Sapa.
 

Day 6: SAPA – EXPLORE LOCAL MARKET – LAO CAI & TRAIN TO HANOI (B/ L)

The markets in the Northern Vietnam are always the colorful meeting places for the hill tribes, spotlight for any Sapa Tours and of course, your unique Vietnam Tours experience. Minority people come down from the mountains to sell their products, or just for catching up on the latest news, gossip, drinking away troubles or seeking for lover. In the morning, drive to visit one of the areas weekly markets;

Day 7: HANOI – HALONG BAY CRUISE (B/ L/ D)

Pick up from the train station, this morning, we have already arranged a room in a mini hotel for you to have shower and breakfast. We start at 8.00 A.M for the 3 hour drive (170 km) through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of chances for taking photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. At half way, we’ll have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes, embroidered paintings, stone statuettes and all kinds of gems mined in Vietnam such as star rubies or sapphires… Our destination is the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. The bay offers some 3000 mountain islands and islets towering in the Gulf of Tonkin in the East Vietnam Sea.
 
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed on board our luxury junk and treated with wine and fresh local seafood. As our junk gliding further into the tranquility of Ha Long Bay amid the towering mountain cliffs and on the emerald green water, you’ll have relaxing time combining the fine tastes of the wine and the freshness of Ha Long Bay. During the cruise, we’ll stop some times for visiting the amazing Sung Sot cave and the Ti Top white sand beach before anchoring for the night. Overnight on board.
 

Day 8: HALONG BAY CRUISE – HANOI – FLIGHT TO HUE (B/ BRUNCH)

After breakfast, we’ll take a little sampan to visit a secret lagoon of Ha Long Bay while the surrounding mountains are just waking up. After that our cruise takes us further into the Bay of Bai Tu Long traveling past the Human Head Island, the Turtle Island, and the Duck Islet… to the studio site where the famous Indochine film was shot. Around noon, our junk travels back to the harbor, pick up and drive back to Hanoi. Stop in Hai Duong to visit the famous Con Son pagoda. Transfer back to Hanoi Airport for your afternoon flight with Vietnam airlines to Hue. Pick up and transfer to your hotel, evening free at leisure in Hue.

Day 9: HUE TOUR (B/ L)

Hue is one of places, which has many cultural heritages. Up to now, there is no place like Hue remaining a lot of originally historical vestiges as in this ancient Capital City and favorite destination for all Vietnam Tours. After breakfast, our tour starts with the visit to Imperial Citadel before taking the beautiful boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit Hue’s best-known religious site-Thien Mu Pagoda and the Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes.
 
Return to the hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hue.
 

Day 10: HUE – DRIVE TO HOI AN (B)

After breakfast, we drive to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years and for sure, Hoi An is a wonderful destination for all kinds of Vietnam Tours. This scenic drive passes through the fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Along the way, stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world.

Day 11: HOI AN – TOUR TO MY SON – HOI AN (B)

After breakfast, we invite you an interesting visit to My Son Holy land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries.
 
Drive back to Hoi An, end of your today’s beautiful Vietnam Tour with visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colourful riverside market. Overnight in Hoi An.
 

Day 12: HOI AN FREE DAY (B)

Hoi An Ancient Town – highlight of any tour to Vietnam that no Vietnam Tours maker would skip, is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.
 
Day free to cycle through rice paddies in the countryside of Hoi An ancient town, shop for souvenirs among the antique shops and art galleries, or just sit at sidewalk cafes and soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town. Or relax on the white sandy beach of the famous Danang Beach. Overnight in a Hoi An hotel.
 

Day 13: HOI AN – DANANG – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B)

After breakfast, our Vietnam tour guide and driver in Hoi An will transfer you to the airport for your flight with Vietnam airlines to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport, welcome by our private Vietnam tour guide and driver and transfer to you hotel for check in. Ho Chi Minh, the most exciting city of Vietnam, a mecca of commerce, also a city with a chequered history and a rich culture, its pagodas, museums, public buildings, parks and boulevards make it one of the most delightful Vietnam Tours and cities to visit in Vietnam.
 
In the afternoon, we will do the city tour of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, visiting to Reunification Palace, Vietnam War Museum and the environment of Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
 

Day 14: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS – HO CHI MINH (B/ L)

On this full-day program, you’ll depart Ho Chi Minh City at 08:00 for a pleasant drive through the countryside to Cu Chi.
 
Before entering the tunnels you’ll see a short introductory video about their construction. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnel maze. Also on display are various mantraps, the remains of an American tank, and numerous bomb craters created by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
 
Afterwards, you’ll head back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving at around 13:00.
 
In the afternoon your Ho Chi Minh City tour begins with a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, fine examples of classical French colonial architecture.
 
See the Reunification Palace, one of the city’s most important buildings. Here on 30 April 1975 the American War officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was at the time the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
 
Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, the War Remnants Museum features poignant displays of the futility of war. The courtyard outside contains the spoils of war, namely rusting jets, tanks, and cannons captured from the American military machine.
 
Visit the bustling Ben Thanh Market, which is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk ao dais, the traditional costume for women.
 
The tour ends at approximately 18:00 and you’ll be transferred back to your hotel. Note that you have the option of staying on at Ben Thanh Market and making your own way back to the hotel.
 

Day 15: HO CHI MINH – CAI BE – CAN THO HOMESTAY (B/ L/ D)

Today we will start our exploration of the Mekong Delta, a major rice producing area. This must be one of the most fascinating riverine deltas in the world. The Mekong splits into nine major arteries. A vast network of rivers and waterways with thousands of ships of all sizes plowing the waters gives the Mekong Delta a very special atmosphere and no double one of the most favorite destinations for Vietnam Tours. On arrival,we will make a boat trip to the Cai Be floating Market, visit villages and meet the people of the Mekong Delta. Continue your boat trip to An Binh Island for Lunch in a local family and bike trip in the afternoon. Continue to Can Tho – the heart of Mekong Delta in Vietnam. Continue to Can Tho and transfer from Ninh Kieu wharf to local people’s house for homestay by shuttle boat. Visit local homes & orchards and participate in local activities such as gardening, fishing, ploughing. Have dinner at the home. Tonight, we spend the unique night in a homestay with local family.

Day 16: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HO CHI MINH (B)

In the morning, we make a the boat cruise to see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats), the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill, a rice noodles making shop which are nice chances to discover the daily life of Vietnamese people in Mekong Delta.
 
Afternoon, drive back to Ho Chi Minh. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
 

Day 17: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B)
