Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL


Upon arrival, our private guide and driver will welcome your Vietnam Holiday, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check in. Hanoi, a city where the exotic chic of old Asia blends with the dynamic face of new Asia. Where the medieval and modern co-exist. A city with a blend of Parisian grace and Asian pace, an architectural museum piece evolving in harmony with its history, rather than bulldozing through like many of the region’s capitals. Hanoi is where imagination becomes reality.

Day 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/ L)


Hanoi without a doubt is a beautiful stop for your Vietnam Travel. Today, we enjoy a full day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum (or Museum of Fine Arts, Army Museum, History Museum, Woman Museum, Hoa Lo Prison), the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword. Late afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Enjoy a glass of “draught beer – included” at Ta Hien Street before we enjoy a fantastic traditional water puppet show.

Day 3: HANOI – HOA LU & TAM COC – HANOI (B/ L)


Pick up at your hotel and continue your Absolute Vietnam Toursby heading south for the two hour drive along Highway One. We spend one hour visiting the Dinh and Le sanctuaries. These are the two remaining temples of the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu. The first is dedicated to Dinh Tien Hoang (also known as Dinh Bo Linh), an Emperor from the Dinh Dynasty. The second commemorates the rulers of the Le Dynasty. Dinh Bo Linh successfully conquered Vietnam’s first independent rulers, the Ngo Dynasty. On his death in 980, General Le Hoan wisely married Dinh’s widow and established the Le Dynasty and enlarged the citadel.

We then move on to Tam Coc – Poetically penned ‘Halong Bay on the rice paddies’, the area around Tam Coc boasts stunning scenery. While Halong Bay has rugged rock formations jutting out of the sea, here they soar skywards from a sea of green. After a three hour boat trip along the Boi River, we do beautiful bicycle trip to Bich Dong pagoda for visit to a very nice pagoda and cave. In the afternoon return to Hanoi.

Day 4: HANOI – HALONG – OVERNIGHT ON BOARD (B/ L/ D)


Halong tour must be the most beautiful tour in Vietnam for any visitors. This morning, after breakfast, wedrive to Halong Bay (165km), Vietnam most scenic sight, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site and highlight of any Vietnam Tours.

11.30 Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier.

12.15 Transfer by tender to the boat – enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise briefing and safety instructions.

12.30 Check in and begin cruise. Sail through beautiful Bai Tu Long Bay enroute to Halong Bay.

13.00 Lunch – enjoy deluxe Vietnamese and International Set Menu Lunch.

Massage service available beginning after lunch and throughout the cruise. Please book in advance with your Cruise Manager.

14.45 Arrive at Luon Cave. Depart from the boat and journey past such popular sites as “Đầu Người” Head Island, “Con Rùa” Turtle Island and “Cổng Trời” Heaven’s Gate Island on the way to the cave. There are two options for exploring the cave and surrounding area. One option is to transfer to small bamboo boats which are rowed by the local people. The second option is to travel by kayak (passengers row kayaks for themselves).

15:45 Return to the boat and sail for about 15 minutes to our second stop – Titop Island.

16.00 Arrive at Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Water and towels will be supplied. We will spend about 45 minutes on the island.

17.00 Depart and sail for about 30 minutes to Luon Bo area, where we will anchor for overnight.

19.15 Dinner – deluxe Vietnamese & Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.

20.45 Evening activities include: film entertainment (on some boats) in the dining room at 21.00, board games and playing cards are available, and massage services are available. Passengers may also try their luck at squid fishing from the boat.

Day 5: HALONG BAY DISCOVERY (B/ L/ D)

Day 6: HALONG – HANOI – FLIGHT TO HUE (B/ BRUNCH)


06.45 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.

07.00 Enjoy Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes).

07.00 Arrive at the Surprise Cave area. There is a small fishing village here.

07.45 Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat.

09.00 Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all of your belongings from the cabins, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier). Depart for Bai Chay/Halong pier.

09.30 Enjoy Breakfast Set Menu or Buffet in the dining room. We will settle bills after breakfast. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier.

11.00 Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier. Pick up and drive back to Hanoi. Stop in Hai Duong to visit the famous Con Son pagoda. Transfer back to Hanoi Airport for your afternoon flight with Vietnam airlines to Hue. Pick up and transfer to your hotel, evening free at leisure in Hue.

Day 7: HUE CITY TOUR (B/ L)


Hue is one of places, which has many cultural heritages. Up to now, there is no place like Hue remaining a lot of originally historical vestiges as in this ancient Capital City and favorite destination for all Vietnam Tours. After breakfast, our tour starts with the visit to Imperial Citadel before taking the beautiful boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit Hue’s best-known religious site-Thien Mu Pagoda and the Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes.

Return to the hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in a Hue.

Day 8: HUE – HOI AN (B)


After breakfast, we drive to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years and for sure, Hoi An is a wonderful destination for all kinds of Vietnam Tours. This scenic drive passes through the fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Along the way, stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world.

Upon arrival in Hoi An, free to take walking tour of the Hoi An ancient town centre. Overnight in a Hoi An.
 

Day 9: HOI AN – MY SON – HOI AN (B/ L)


After breakfast, we invite you an interesting visit to My Son Holy land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries.

Drive back to Hoi An, end of your today’s beautiful Vietnam Tour with visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colourful riverside market. Overnight in a Hoi An.

Day 10: HOI AN BASKET BOAT (B/ L)


Pick up at hotel by mini van, transfer to a local fishing village.
Learn about daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community
Board the boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River.
Join local fisherman on the river and enjoy hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing
Enjoy basket boat dancing on the round boat (THUNG CHAI) by our crews.
Learn how to make an origami creations from reeds of palm leaves such as grasshopper, birds, ring, sunglass ,bracelets….etc.
Back on-board our boat, enjoy lunch. After lunch, return to hotel by coach.

Day 11: HOI AN – DANANG – FLIGHT TO NHA TRANG (B)


After breakfast, our Vietnam tour guide and driver in Hoi An will transfer you to Da Nang airport for the flight to Nha Trang.

Upon arrival pick up and transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in a Nha Trang hotel.

Day 12: NHA TRANG ISLAND TOUR (B/ L)


After breakfast, depart for Cau Da Port. Start your excursions to interesting islands of Nha Trang Bay.
Take a boat Visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium - a lake on the sea with hundreds of special marine creatures on Mieu Island. Continue visit Mun Island: Named Mun Island because its stones are as black as ebony. Hon Mun is not a place where tourists can observe and explore the sea creatures' life but also is the best place for snorkeling in Vietnam. At Hon Mun, tourist can dive or take the glass-bottom boat to admire colorful corals and sea creatures (on own expenses). Continue tour at Mot Island, you can be relaxing, swimming & doing water sports (on own expenses) in the island. Relax at Tranh Beach & taking a fresh lunch at the island. On the way back you will visit a fishing village & Con Se Tre Village. Back to pier. We drive back to down town. Free at your own leisure on beach. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Nha Trang.

Day 13: NHA TRANG FREE DAY (B)

Day 14: NHA TRANG – MUI NE (B)


After breakfast, our private guide and driver pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Phan Thiet (5 hours drive, a perfect place to end your Vietnam Holiday – Once a part of the Cham Kingdom, it’s now a perfect stop for Vietnam beach holidays, an unremarkable town with a reasonable beach, some decent hotels, and a very good golf course. In a nice setting with white sand beaches and coconut trees, the beach resort of Phan Thiet is also endowed with amazing spots such as sand dunes, natural lakes and astonishing red canyons. Phan Thiet still has sizeable populations of Cham and Raglai ethnic minority groups. The former are a part of the area’s Cham heritage.

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, free time at leisure. Overnight in Muine.
 

Day 15: MUINE SUNSET SAND DUNE  TOUR (B)


After breakfast, we will visit to the interesting 9th Century, Po Shanu Cham Towers. This complex consists of ruins of 3 towers and has magnificent sweeping views of Mui Ne’s township.
 
After rest time, at 14:30 PM We pick up at your hotel as jeep following a smooth 1 hour trip direct to FAIRY STREAM, a natural beauty spot with a nice mountain – water view the white Canyon, which is a unique and primitive place untouched by human beings, near a small brook with clean water.
Then enjoy the exciting daily local activities fishermen and thousands of fishing boat delivering their products from the sea to the local market at the FISHING VILLAGE 
Next is WHITE SANDDUNES, you can enjoy sunset in the RED SANDDUNES

Day 16: MUI NE FREE DAY (B)


Free day at leisure and overnight in Phant Thiet / Mui Ne.

Day 17: MUI NE – HO CHI MINH (B)


After a morning sunbathing on the beach where the seashells outnumber the people, we travel back to Ho Chi Minh city (175km).

Upon arrival transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight in a Ho Chi Minh.
 

Day 18: HO CHI MINH – CAO DAI TEMPLE & CU CHI TUNNELS – HCM (B/ L)


After breakfast, enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province in the west of Vietnam. At Tay Ninh visit the incredible Cao Dai Great Temple, with architecture that could have come straight from a Walt Disney fantasy and where all the major faiths of the world blend together in a unique religious cocktail.

In the afternoon, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence where you will understand more about the Vietnam War or American War, a must see Vietnam Tour for any tourists to learn about Vietnam past and present days.

Day 19: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA – EMBARK BASSAC CRUISE (B/ L/ D)


Today we will start our exploration of the Mekong Delta, a major rice producing area. This must be one of the most fascinating riverine deltas in the world. The Mekong splits into nine major arteries. A vast network of rivers and waterways with thousands of ships of all sizes plowing the waters gives the Mekong Delta a very special atmosphere and no double one of the most favorite destinations for Vietnam Tours.

08.00 Our driver and car will pick you up at the hotel for transfer to Can Tho. Boarding at Ninh Kieu pier. Welcome drink, introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Departure downstream of the Hau river. Lunch on board while en route. Tour near Tra On floating market.

Turning into Nicolai canal, towards the Mang Thit and Co Chien rivers. Rest on the upper deck in a scenery of rice fields, sugar cane, woods on the near banks.

Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby.

Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck or around the bar enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit river towards her anchorage point for the night.

The Bassac sets anchor for the night on river Mang Thit. Overnight on board.

Day 20: MEKONG DELTA – DISEMBARK – HO CHI MINH (B)


06:30 Departure towards Cai Be. The passengers take their breakfast while enjoying the scenery on the banks.The Bassac crosses Co Chien river then branches into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in a scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards.

Arrival in Cai Be, check-out and boarding of a local boat for a tour of Cai Be floating market and handicraft.Leaving the board at Cái Bè. Drive back to Saigon for hotel’s check in. Overnight in a Saigon hotel.
 

Day 21: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B)
